Here are a few places of interest related to production services and resources.  I have had the fortune of working with several of these organizations over the years and would certainly recommend their services to others.

Morningstar Productions

Alan Morgenstern or Brian Shannon

Alliant Event Services

Dave Dhaya

A nationwide event production company providing a variety of services for corporate and media events both small and large.

Midas

Some of the best consoles I have mixed on.  (If it says Midas, it's pretty hard to go wrong with it.)

Yamaha Commercial Audio

Great digital consoles (and widely available) as well as several other products.

EV

I am a big fan of the XLC series medium formay line arrays.  Some of the best shows I've heard are reinforced by these boxes.

Klark Teknik

My absolute favorite for drive and processing.  It's consistently great regardless of the product line.

TurboSound

If you want loud and clear audio (I mean nail you to the wall loud), I don't think it get's much louder than this.  It has it's own tonal characteristics that make it somewhat unique - but it will flat nail your arse to the wall.
